Why your company should join Construction Industries of Massachusetts
Construction Industries of Massachusetts (CIM) focuses on resolving industry issues so its members can focus on their core businesses. CIM represents its members with municipal, state and federal agencies on matters such as transportation funding and contract administration and promotes the industry’s perspective on many other issues that impact its members.
Firms that design, furnish materials for and construct highways, bridges, airports and transit projects or perform site and/or utility work know all too well the challenges faced every day in a competitive bid environment. Each year, new laws, regulations and other requirements bring additional challenges to the industry. Individual member firms must spend their time and resources effectively managing their own services and workload, while CIM addresses important industry-wide concerns.
As one collective voice, members of CIM have access to their lawmakers and officials from awarding authorities and can become part of a large group of contractors, engineers, material suppliers, equipment dealers and other important industry associates.
CIM’s top priority is to ensure maximum state and federal transportation funding is available so the Commonwealth’s transportation infrastructure continues to improve and be upgraded and so its members are able to grow based on the volume of work available.
